Christina Stürmer returned after a four-year hiatus with an impressive MTV Unplugged tour and enthralled the audience in Kempten on April 17, 2024 with a sold-out concert at the kultBOX of the bigBOX ALLGÄU. As a new star in the lineup of MTV Unplugged greats, which already includes names like Eric Clapton, Udo Lindenberg, Nirvana, and Sportfreunde Stiller, she presented a total of 22 songs to her fans in an impressive performance, accompanied by a great band.
During the concert, Christina Stürmer also took the time to share about her personal journey with MTV Unplugged and from her life. The format required long moments of silence on stage, which she honestly admitted was not always easy for her. Nevertheless, she delivered a powerful and captivating performance that delighted the audience in the packed kultBOX in Kempten.
Prior to the concert, Christina Stürmer was awarded the Sold Out Award by the bigBOX ALLGÄU, an original Allgäu cowbell, which she joyfully accepted. This award had previously been given to renowned artists such as DJ BOBO, Ina Müller, David Garrett, Die Toten Hosen, and many others.
In 2023, a total of 20 Sold Out Awards were presented, and so far in 2024, ten awards have already been given. The award honors the exceptional performance of artists who captivate audiences with their sold-out concerts and make the bigBOX ALLGÄU an important venue.
