The U21 football team of FC Memmingen faces an important challenge as they play against bottom-of-the-table TSV Bobingen this Saturday at 2:00 pm. With the goal of surpassing the 40-point mark and taking another step towards securing their spot in the regional league, the team is motivated for the match.

TSV Bobingen, the opponent, is fighting to stay away from the relegation spots. However, the team has struggled to secure victories in recent games. Their last four matches all ended in draws, with the most recent being a 1-1 draw against FV Illertissen II. Bobingen has yet to secure a win since the winter break.
FCM coach Besim Miroci expresses optimism about his team’s chances in Bobingen: „It will be a tough challenge, but we aim to take the big step forward.“ Despite the 1-1 draw against Aufkirchen, Miroci is calling for improved composure in the final third of the game. There were enough chances against Aufkirchen, but the finishing left something to be desired.
There were no major changes in the player lineup during the week. Andre Braun was able to participate in training again. The decision on which players from the regional league team will support the U21 team will be made shortly after the first team’s Friday match against Aschaffenburg.
In the first-leg match against Bobingen, FCM II celebrated a convincing 4-0 victory. The team hopes to repeat this result and return to Memmingen with three points in hand.
