MCI gewinnt BMDA Significant Impact Award 2024

Das MCI Austria hat den BMDA Significant Impact Award 2024 erhalten, der die Förderung nachhaltiger Entwicklung im Arbeits- und Studienalltag würdigt. Die Verleihung fand im Rahmen der BMDA Jahreskonferenz in Danzig statt, mit internationalen Gästen wie dem ehemaligen Staatspräsidenten Lech Walesa. Regina Obexer, Leiterin des MCI Center for Responsible Management & Social Impact, nahm die Auszeichnung entgegen. Die MCI-Professorin Antje Bierwisch zeigte sich begeistert über die Erwähnung des UNESCO-Lehrstuhls. Der Rektor Andreas Altmann betonte die Bedeutung der Auszeichnung für das MCI. MCI wins BMDA Significant Impact Award 2024 | Promotion of Sustainable Development decisive

Good News at MCI: Due to the exemplary integration of sustainability principles into work and study life and the receipt of the UNESCO Chairs in Futures Capability for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, the Entrepreneurial School® was awarded the prestigious Significant Impact Award 2024 by the Baltic Management Development Association (BMDA).

The award ceremony took place at the BMDA Annual Conference in Gdansk, Poland, which invited valuable exchange and inspiring lectures with international guests, including former President and Nobel Peace Prize laureate Lech Walesa.

Regina Obexer, Head of the MCI Center for Responsible Management & Social Impact, accepted the award on behalf of MCI and thanked the BMDA board: „It’s nice to see that the efforts of so many MCI colleagues for sustainable development are recognized by the BMDA.“

Antje Bierwisch, MCI Professor and holder of the UNESCO Chair for Future Research established in 2023, is excited about the special mention: „This award underscores MCI’s commitment to promoting sustainable development through education, research, and innovation, highlighting our contribution to shaping a more sustainable future.“
